Alongside the official program, the Off-Bach is a unique opportunity for everyone to (re)discover classical music!
Entirely free of charge, this Off Festival welcomes the public to an intimate and convivial space in the heart of Montreal, and offers a diverse program accessible to all: Recitals, spontaneous performances by Montreal Bach Festival artists, rehearsals open to the public, discussions with music professionals and the Festival team…
A word from the artistic director
Off-Bach is the ideal place to experience Bach's universal humanism. People of all ages and backgrounds gather in an open, downtown setting to attend free recitals, mini-conferences, and impromptu performances.
We know that Bach himself enjoyed a glass of wine at community gatherings, so follow his lead, come and visit us at the festival and celebrate his legacy and joie de vivre together!
