Published in Venice in 1610, Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers is one of the major works of the Western vocal repertoire.
The ensemble Vox Luminis, a world-renowned authority on the early vocal repertoire, conducted by Lionel Meunier, brings this epic work to life in all its complexity and splendor. A rare event: the complete work, performed by one of the most admired ensembles on the international Baroque scene.
