This is the first appearance in Montreal for the Musiciens de Saint-Julien, an ensemble founded in 2006 by flutist François Lazarevitch. They are said to be reviving dormant musical depths with an approach that is both erudite and intuitive. Quite a mission! It is a pleasure to discover them in an intimate instrumental formation of four musicians in this superb musical gift from J.S. Bach to the King of Prussia.
