All over the Baroque

Daniel Lanthier, baroque oboe, and Marco Baronchelli, lute

From Handel to Bach, via Telemann, Platti, and the all-too-rarely heard Zamboni, Daniel Lanthier and Marco Baronchelli explore the late Baroque chamber repertoire in its most refined forms: sonatas, suites, and partitas.
The two instruments respond to one another with equal delicacy, in the natural dialogue between melody and accompaniment.
Bach’s Suite in G minor, BWV 995 – a transcription for lute of a cello suite – crowns a demanding and generous program.
