The virtuoso on sensitive strings

Augustin Hadelich, violin

A Grammy Award winner and hailed by international critics as one of the most accomplished violinists of his generation, Augustin Hadelich stands out as much for the purity of his style as for the depth of his interpretations.
For the Festival, he presents a solo violin recital spanning four centuries: from Telemann and Bach to Ysaÿe and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, whose Blue/s Forms offer a decidedly contemporary voice.

“Mr. Hadelich plays with dazzling technique, a gorgeous tone and penetrating, spontaneous musicality.” – The New York Times
