A solo evening of music with Chris Thile

Mandolinist, singer, and Grammy Award-winning songwriter, Chris Thile is one of the founding members of Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek.
With his mandolin, Thile constantly pushes the boundaries of genre. He has collaborated with acclaimed musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma, Fiona Apple, and Brad Mehldau.
Once again, he demonstrates his “musical genius that defies genres” (NPR), performing a selection of pieces drawn from his two-volume recordings of J.S. Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas, alongside his own compositions blending compositional rigour, folk storytelling and brilliant improvisation.
