Founded in 2007, Ensemble Da Capo brings together about thirty amateur singers and instrumentalists—passionate music lovers who devote themselves to performance without pursuing it professionally. The ensemble shares with audiences its deep love for the sacred repertoire of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Over the years, Ensemble Da Capo has taken part in the Montréal Baroque Festival, the Festival Bach in Montréal, the Choralies at the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours in Montréal, concerts with Les Idées heureuses, as well as the prestigious BachFest Leipzig in Germany.
