

Cellist Alisa Weilerstein is one of the most important musicians of our time, known for her artistic mastery, emotional investment and depth of interpretation. A strong advocate for creative music, in early 2023 she launched Fragments, an immersive art project that brings together the thirty-six movements of Bach’s cello suites with twenty-seven original works. Alisa Weilerstein has been married since 2013 to Venezuelan conductor Rafael Payare.
